baby clothes

A friend recently gave birth to a pre-mature baby. Knowing how hard it is to find clothes that would fit the baby, I decided to try my hand at it using gauze diaper cloth and crochet...who knows? I may soon open my own line of baby wear (hahaha)!

guests get to bring home the flowers

Tiffany and Allen Wedding

Tiffany and Allen

The Bridesmaid, the Flower Girl and the Maid of Honor

Allen and Tiffany's theme was Pixie Rain Forest. Tiffany, the bride, has lots of ideas and it was fun to brainstorm with her..the possibilities were endless! The Church decor was very simple. We placed earthen pots filled with tall cogon grasses along San Sebastian's church aisles. The bride's Cymbidiums orchid arm bouquet added drama to the set-up...of course the bride herself looked stunningly elegant and dramatic in her Jing Chua creation. The Principal Sponsors, Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids also used cymbidiums while Cabbage Roses were used for the Mommies of the bridal pair and flower girls. Using Hypericum (I call it "red berries") for boutonnaires was a nice touch too.

Groom's Boutonnaire

For the reception centerpieces, golden earth pots were filled with gold chocolate coins and/or flowers (an assortment of phalaenopsis, stargazers, gerberas, and carnations). Some gold pots were just filled with chocolate coins and some had both flowers and coins. The principal sponsors each got a pot of cymbidium orchids each (still in the earthen gold pots). Around the centerpieces, chocolate gold coins were scattered in the middle of each table. In the presidential table, however, fruits were scattered along with the coins.

Of course, the guests did get to take home the flowers...while the kids gets to take home the chocolates!!!

Since high school, Tiffany's nickname was "stitch" and when she requested for stitch dolls on the bridal car, I think I was more excited in dressing up the dolls than she was!!! hahaha.
